Our Christchurch clinics provide the full spectrum of primary care services. Our experienced team of doctors, nurses, wellness support professionals and administrators provide treatment for a range of long-term health conditions, such as diabetes, asthma and depression, regular or recurring check-ups such as cervical smears, blood pressure checks, HPV self-tests, bowel cancer screening, vaccinations, well-child/kainga ora checks, and one-off needs such as care for minor injuries, aches, pains, infections, or sorting treatment and prescriptions for colds, flus and other illnesses.

Our teams are experienced in assessing, diagnosing, treating and managing many illnesses and issues, and can provide appropriate care for our patients whether it is a prescription, a specialist referral, an ongoing support programme (like smoking cessation), or on-the-spot care such as suturing, plastering, minor surgery or another treatment. We are committed to long-term healthcare, health education and preventative medicine and with ongoing relationships with enrolled patients we can take a truly holistic view of your health to help you and your whanau thrive.

Our Riccarton Clinic is both a GP & Urgent Care Clinic. The Urgent Care Clinic is available for sudden illnesses and injury care 7 days a week, 8am-8pm. The team can help to fix up your bumps, bruises, sprains and strains, and can take care of non-critical wound care within the clinic. If you require a referral to hospital, our team can identify this and ensure your care is escalated.

Our Christchurch Clinics

Durham Health

Durham Health is a purpose-built Integrated Family Healthcare Centre in Rangiora, North Canterbury. It is a Cornerstone accredited practice, having met the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners standard for GP services as defined in 'aiming for excellence'.

Durham Health offer patients a full range of healthcare services, including same-day acute care, minor surgery, and workplace medicals. ACC, child health, skin checks, long term condition management and much more.

Open Monday–Thursday 8.30am-6pm. Friday 8.30-5pm.
Open Saturday 9am-12noon as a drop-in or walk-in clinic (i.e. you will not need an appointment).

Eastcare Health

Eastcare Health in Aranui, is a friendly family-focused general practice clinic that supports the community with regular GP services. The experienced team of local doctors and nurses are caring and committed and provide high quality and accessible care for patients. Appointments are available for one-off care and treatment, longer-term health management, ACC assessments, general wound, injury and illness support and all your other general health concerns.

Greers Road Medical Centre

Located in Bishopdale, Greers Road Medical is a general practice clinic that supports patients with the full spectrum of general health care for physical and mental wellbeing. An appointment only clinic, the friendly team can help with all manner of ailments, from childhood checks and immunisations, to travel health, medication monitoring and prescriptions, sexual and reproductive health, smear tests, minor surgeries, blood tests, minor injury care and ACC consultations.

New Brighton Health Care – enrolling now

New Brighton first opened the doors to its friendly family practice in 1978 and while the team and the name have changed over time the heart of the business remains the same and continues to provide a welcoming local clinic, honouring the community’s trust in their care. The clinic provides a full complement of GP health services for families and individuals including children, women and men. They can help with health checks and treatments, prescriptions, long-term support, and where needed can provide acute care during normal operating hours (8am-6pm weekdays). Physiotherapy, counselling, blood testing and a pharmacy are all available onsite for additional care and the team can make referrals for other services as needed.

Riccarton Clinic

Riccarton Clinic is a GP and urgent care clinic with extended hours for your convenience, and a pharmacy and x-ray service onsite. Riccarton welcomes walk-ins for all patients, and enrolled patients can book appointments too. The practice has been the Riccarton community’s medical home for over 20 years. A large team of doctors, nurses and the wider team create a welcoming and supportive place to care for your health.

As an ACC-accredited urgent care clinic, we are fully equipped to help with the assessment and treatment of a wide range of injuries, including sports injuries and workplace accidents. We can provide specialist referrals when needed, making sure you get the right care for your recovery.

Shirley Medical Centre – enrolling now

An appointment-only clinic, Shirley is a friendly general practice who are focused on providing the highest quality care for all patients’ health needs, in a prompt and responsive way. Shirley’s most recent patient satisfaction score was 4.49 out of 5 and the clinic works hard to maintain happy healthy patients. Shirley offers a full GP service providing casual/one-off support and longer-term support, at every age and stage of life, whether it’s tests, advice, treatment, prescriptions, accident care, immunisations, or even minor surgery.
